{"id":1080,"date":"2015-05-21T16:35:11","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T20:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sweatsoxbaseball.com\/blog\/?p=1080"},"modified":"2015-05-21T16:35:11","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T20:35:11","slug":"magnus-gets-clicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sweatsoxbaseball.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/21\/magnus-gets-clicks\/","title":{"rendered":"Magnus Gets Clicks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, the rested SweatSox returned to action after a week off to face the Cardinals, who had just come off an extra inning 6-5 win where they only dressed 8 players the night before \u2013 a tribute to their fine leadership.<\/p>\n<p>The SweatSox struck early &amp; often, batting around the order in each of the first two innings, scoring 7 times for starter Cory Bond.\u00a0 GLE once again pitched 4 innings before turning it over to the bullpen, his only true blemish a 4th inning 514-foot HR to straight away center field.\u00a0 Eric White may have been able to track it down if not for that fence thingy surrounding the field.<\/p>\n<p>The Cardinals got a couple more runs in the 5th to make it a 2 run game, but in the bottom the SweatSox batted around again, scoring 8 runs capped by a walkoff HBP from the living legend Marc Lett.\u00a0 For the first time since the 2005 season, the SweatSox are 3-0.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">SweatSox 15.
