Johns<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ncblawards?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ncblawards<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NCBL (@ncbl) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ncbl\/status\/794511033784270850?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 4, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 4px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Final 2016 NCBL Banquet Notes\/Thoughts<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pineview Golf Course became the 4th banquet venue in modern NCBL history, joining The Prescott, Southway Inn, and the Hellenic Centre.<\/li>\n<li>It was a poor OM showing for the SweatSox, with only Craig Cornell representing the 40+\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>The Kingston Ponies bailed on the banquet; turns out the one guy who can drive the team bus came down with a case of uromysitisis poisoning.<\/li>\n<li>Ross Hughes continued his push for offseason MVP by supplying the prejinx beers.<\/li>\n<li>Jay Flannigan (Cornwall) looks a bit different than the last time we saw him.<\/li>\n<li>Stef Leclair (Dukes) won what appeared to be some kind of vibrator as a door prize.<\/li>\n<li>Ryan Dillon (Battalion) isn&#8217;t walking through a crowd for a salad bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Kent Johnston calculated the SweatSox odds of winning the 50:50 at 14%.\u00a0 We did not win.<\/li>\n<li>50:50 winner Chris Armstrong (Cubs) won his SweatSox league fees for next season.<\/li>\n<li>Adam Lowry (Bandits) snuck into the Tier 4 All-Stars photo, while Pat Lyons (Cardinals) was kicked out of the Tier 2 All-Stars photo.<\/li>\n<li>Now that there\u2019s a Volunteer of the Year Award, it\u2019s only a matter of time before there\u2019s a Social Media Award, which I, Shaun Keay, will win.<\/li>\n<li>The Metcalfe Mudd announced they\u2019d be joining the Winchester Sox in Tier 1 next year.<\/li>\n<li>Craig Cornell doesn&#8217;t keep an accurate inventory of his pockets&#8217;
