We later learned that Josh was working to increase his reaction time from pitch sign to pitch release, hoping to reach a Lenardon-like level. He could not. We also learned that he only stopped balking because he realized that balked runs are earned runs, not because the umpire was right. He did not balk again.

Nobody is going to see this tweet, but everyone saw Josh get called for 2 balks in 1 inning.

?SweatSox 5.
?Lumberjacks 3.@ncbl pic.twitter.com/9S4ZUjG426
— SweatSox (@SweatSox) July 9, 2022

Oh, by the way, with 2 hits tonight I, Shaun Keay, am officially at exactly 400 “total bases” for my career. Some say this is the most important stat in baseball, so CONGRATULATIONS to ME.

SweatSox vs Lumberjacks Notes/Thoughts:

We will never know if assholes are supposed to switch seats or not.

We will never know if Kent invited Josh, or if Josh invited Kent.

Craig Cornell removed Mark Bond.

If Josh said it happened, or didn’t, then it did, or it didn’t.

Josh’s phone is special.

@Craig Cornell can go fuck himself.

You can put a snail in a bucket, but you can’t buy a gorilla.

My profile is magnificent.

Kent’s a shandy.

Kent is not sitting, except in the parking lot at 4:45pm before the game.

Craig was feeling this one, he was a fuck in.

It’s good Josh was ready, cause he’s going.

It’s good Eric was ready, cause he’s going.

Nobody else is going.

Not only was there a Rogers outage, there was a Powers outage (0/9).

Eric doesn’t appreciate people streaming porn on his hotspot.

Pat Lyons made his 1st (but hopefully not last) appearance at the Hyjinx.

At Darcy’s, the tables are wobbly, the burgers are tasty, and the urinal walls are curvy.

Blessed ?? https://t.co/Qc72ZKBW6f
— Shaun Keay (@ShaunKeay) July 7, 2022

KANATA– On July 8th, the SweatSox bested the Lumberjacks 5-3 behind a strong 6-inning performance from Josh Ramage, and a 4/4 day at the plate (+ a save) for Eric White. Jaspreet Sanghra was the hero of the game, knocking in the tying and go-ahead runs on a 6th inning double to right.
