Broment of the Day: Chris Lidstone and Cory Bond got to the park early to watch the Panthers take on the River Hawks. I saw the mess our guys made, there was definitely touching and eating of nuts.
SweatSox-Orioles had a familiar feel to it, because just like our last game against the Braves we gave up a ton of runs in the first inning, 6 to be exact. While we proved last time that we could come back from 5, 6 was too big a deficit to even think of a comeback. SweatSox lose the game 7-2, and the season series 2-1.

The winners of the 2004 A&W Kamloops International Baseball Game MVP are: Craig Cornell and Mark Bond. The Consultant (2) and Bus Cop (1) combined for the 3 SweatSox hits. OMC had a single and double, while the WMD had a long HR to deep left field. Honourable mentions go out to GLE and OMG, who combined to pitch 5 innings in relief (4H, 0BB, 0ER, 3K).

- The SweatSox are 0-1 when we give up 6 runs in the first
- The Orioles are 0-5 this year against teams not named the SweatSox
- MinderStone showed up to the game looking for p-nuts
- The better Craig Cornell sees the ball at the plate, the worse he sees it everywhere else
- John Groves recorded his first K on the mound this year; he now needs 14 more for 100 in his career
- Mark Bond went to see where his HR landed, not to get the ball since it was already recovered, but to kindly replace his divot
